So I’ve decided to start from scratch with my portfolio… its kind of a crazy thing to do as a photographer… building a good portfolio takes time and hundreds of pictures…BUT I finally can start working on photography that I want to work on and build my portfolios in the areas that I want to focus in, targeted to my client base. I know its something that as a photographer you always should be working on, but my focus in what I want to do has changed over the past year or two which has led me to this decision. Like people say, dress for the job you want… us photographers have to shoot for the job we want. Its kind of liberating… its that feeling you get when you re-arrange your living room into a cool new style after being in the same layout for a year or two… also very motivating, there is a lot to do.
This has been actually something I’ve been wanting to do for about a year and a half now and most of the reason why I moved to Mexico. Fortunately, I reached this point sooner than I anticipated and with the amazing people I’ve met over the past year this process of re-invention will be easier to achieve.
For the next month or two since I won’t have my full site up and running Im going to switch over to a blog format. I want to still be able to update everyone with the work and pictures Im doing but since this is going to be a process Im going have to wait until i have a solid portfolio up.
